MOB Grill owner Marco Morrow's uniting passion for them, of course. Morrow created MOB Grill as an homage to the classic gangsters we all know and love, all while serving up some pretty damn good burgers.
Marco's, Italian / Lebanese heritage shines through. He was inspired by considerable consumption of the original onion burger, adding some Lebanese influence with plenty of spices and robust flavors.
He began making fried-onion burgers for a love of all things Oklahoma, including his wife Meredith, who hails from the fried-onion burger capital of the world in El Reno.
"MOB", standing for "Marco's Onion Burgers", uses a secret marinade for the onions that are char-pressed into its burgers. Then they griddle buns with mustard, which is a technique Morrow learned from his legendary uncle Ed Thomas, the dearly departed founder of Big Ed’s Hamburgers.
MOB Grill’s hand-cut fries are made to order and the buns come from La Baguette Bakery in Norman.
